'Augustalee' is the historic new name for the former 'Village At Lake Norman' project site in Cornelius, NC.

Augustalee is master-planned as a high quality, mixed-use 'Centre Of Lake Norman', just 20 miles north of Charlotte in the fast-growing Lake Norman area.

Cornelius Bromont, LLC, is the developer, a partnership of the highly experienced Bromont Investments of Scottsdale AZ and Carlsen Douglas Development of Cornelius.

Augustalee will combine retail, residential, office, hospitality and entertainment features, many of which are not currently available in the community. This will be a true live-work-play environment.

The name 'Augustalee' is deeply rooted in the history of the 104-acre site, which for over 100 years was the Cooke family farm. Augusta Lee Chester Cooke was the beloved grandmother of the generation of Cookes who recently sold the site to Cornelius Bromont. For more information please visit our history page.

This 2.2-million-square-foot, $516-million Centre is being located on the south side of Cornelius along Westmoreland Road, bounded by U.S. 21 on the east and I-77 on the west:

• Including approximately 655,000 square feet of high-quality retail/restaurant space, 810,000 square feet of Class A corporate office, two hotels totaling 350 rooms, and 400 luxury residences.
